The press wrote

Theaterkrant

Børsen

Out in Perth

Copenhagen Post

Aesthetically gorgeous, yet dramatic and painful. A masterpiece.

ARCADIA, Columbia

This Hamlet is an absolute must

Montreal Gazette

Piercing, penetrating, perfect. How can Hamlet ever be as good again?

Broadway World Westend

Cleverly staged and suggestive remix

Evening Standard

Visually and musically striking. It's the best production of Hamlet I’ve seen to date

The Australian review

An extremely catchy, energetic performance. We learn from Hamlet, how sad and empty life can be and what magnificent theater you can make from it

Theaterkrant

The most beautiful scene of Ophelia’s death I've seen

Teatralny

A sinful ’HAMLET’ that is innovative, imaginative and incredible. It’s an evening that will haunt you for all the right reasons.

Copenhagen Post

Martin Tulinius, the five actors, and the musicians pull everything together with accomplished theatricality making Shakespeare explode with vitality. This performance will leave its mark on the Hamlet history

Svenska Dagbladet

Tiger Lillies perform Hamlet is an extravagantly grand performance that will do well on the international arena. A performance that proves how skilled Danish stage design is at creating remarkable spaces – and shows the way for new forms of music theatre

Information

It’s pure magic when Tulinius’ skills as a director and set designer unite. It’s fascinating to watch how Martyn Jaques’ game master - like Death - controls everything and by just applying arrogant taps with his shoe can fling Hamlet across the floor

Politiken

Dreamlike, magical, nostalgic, a little morbid and enormously ingenious

Neue Zürcher Zeitung

Excellent show of Theatre Republique from Copenhagen. Visually sophisticated spectacle, almost literally floating in the air. We see this kind of staging of Hamlet extremely rarely today, the last time probably by Peter Brook
